Xaviar’s X2O was once again the site of our Fall Luncheon on September 12 where friends and colleagues joined Sisters, Associates, and Companions for an afternoon of great food, friendship, and conversation.

In addition to fine dining at the popular Yonkers waterfront restaurant, guests had the opportunity to try their luck on almost sixty raffles, which included Vera Bradly bags, Anne Klein tote bags, several jewelry items, restaurant gift cards, Casa de Esperanza handcrafted items, and even a Beats wireless headphone set. A fifty-fifty drawing awarded three prizes: $4,576; $2,745; and $1830.

After the cocktail hour, Development Director Anne Marie Gardiner welcomed guests, and Sister Jane Iannucelli, President of the Sisters of Charity, thanked all for their continued and generous support. Sister Sheila Brosnan offered a blessing before the meal.

As guests enjoyed a delicious dessert, Sister Karen Helfenstein, Director of Sponsored Services, introduced the directors of the ministries and provided a brief overview of the services they continue to afford in the 200+ year tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

Guests left the luncheon with smiles—and many with their beautifully wrapped prizes—all looking forward to the Sixth Annual Fall Luncheon in 2019. Stay tuned for the date!
