The Spirit poured out on Pentecost inspired Jesus’ followers to speak in many languages. Here are some of the languages of Charity:
Charity….Loq’onel (Quiché, Guatemala)….Kawanggaw (Tagalog, Philippines)….
Caridad (Spanish)….Charité (French)….Carità (Italian)….Habb (Arabic)….Upendo (Swahili)

After our recent Associates’ meeting at the Convent of Mary the Queen, I felt somewhat overwhelmed and very under qualified by some of the suggestions made as to how we can help the community. As I prayed the Liturgy of the Hours on Wednesday morning, I was struck by the phrase from Psalm 71, “…and no one saw Your footprints.”
Everyone has a different size foot and therefore makes a footprint the size of her or his own feet!
I believe that God wants each of us to leave His footprints as we walk through life, and that the size of our feet doesn’t matter. It also doesn’t matter where we walk, as long as we leave His footprints behind.
All that He requires of us is that we get out there and walk! It’s like dancing – never look at your feet. He will show you the route, and give you the graces you need to keep on walking!
