Sister to be Published: Sr. Grace Thérèse Murray is translating some o f the 217 letters of the parents of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Louis and Zelie Martin were beatified in Rome on October 19th. A book of their letters will be published in connection with this occasion.
St. Thérèse, known as The Little Flower of Jesus, was a Carmelite nun who is recognized as a Doctor of the Church, one of only three women to receive that honor. |

Course at Dunwoodie: Sr. Janet Baxendale will conduct a course in “Art, Architecture and Worship” at the Institute of Religious Studies at St. Joseph’s Seminary (Dunwoodie), Yonkers. The spring semester runs January 12 – May 7; the course is held 7-9pm.

Seton Spirituality Series: The fourth program in the Seton Spirituality Series will focus on "Elizabeth Seton as Educator." Speakers will be Sisters Margaret McEntee and Constance Brennan. The program will be held after the 12:15pm mass at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary on State Street in lower Manhattan. It will run approximately 20 minutes. All are welcome. Free admission. No advance registration necessary. Refreshments will be served. |

Retreat: "In the Company of Charity..." Sr, Regina Bechtle, Charism Resource Director, and Sr. Jane Iannucelli, Director of Sponsorship Services for the Congregation, will provide reflections at an afternoon
retreat for alums of the College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV). The program, entitled "In the Company of Charity, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton's Rich Legacy and Influence Today," will be held from 2 - 5pm in the President's Reception Room on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building. It will be followed by a Wine and Cheese Reception.

On October 9 - 12, 2009, The Foundling is planning a weekend in New York City where alumni
will trace the agency’s history firsthand through its astounding collection of archival materials,
experience The Foundling as it is today - a broadly expanded network of social services
programs, and forge relationships with each other that can continue to grow through The
Foundling’s online communities.
The Foundling is also inviting doctors and nurses trained through its programs, volunteers,
