ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON
---an Easter COMMUNION now — in my green pastures amidst the refreshing waters for which I thirsted truly.
Imagine…all with the devotion of Saints,…singing the hymn of the Resurrection; when they come to the words "Peace be to all here" it seems as if our Lord is again acting over the scene that passed with the assembled disciples.
As Magdalen at the Sepulchre… went on seeking her God and could find no rest but in him, so a heart which loves God truly will stop at nothing created because nothing can supply for its God, which it seeks everywhere, and in all things.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
If the love of God is a fire, then zeal is its flame; if the love of God is a sun, then zeal is its rays. Zeal is what is most pure in the love of God…Zeal helps us rise above all sorts of difficulties, not only with the force of reason but also with that of grace…It is our vocation to set people’s hearts ablaze, to do what the Son of God did, who came to light a fire on earth in order to set it ablaze with His love.
Always, the hand of God is outstretched for those who wish to clasp it.
ST. LOUISE DE MARILLAC
…to choose the life of Jesus Crucified as the model for our lives so that His Resurrection may be a means for glory for us in Eternity.
After having been continuously sustained by the grace of God, it seemed to me that all that I am is but grace. I implored God to draw these graces in that I might be totally God’s beloved.
